대학원 외국어시험 대체어학강좌

국제어학원 외국어센터에서는 2025학년도 겨울학기 대학원 외국어시험 대체어학강좌 개강을 다음과 같이 개설하며, 비대면 수업으로 진행합니다. 비대면 수업은 줌을 이용한 실시간 수업을 원칙으로 하며, 과제물 대체 등의 수업 방식을 병행할 수 있습니다. 수업 및 시험 방식에 대한 자세한 사항은 신청 기간 이후 담당 강사 결정하여 반별로 공지할 예정입니다. (비대면 수업은 추후 상황에 따라 대면 수업으로 전환될 수도 있습니다.)

1. 수강대상 : 일반대학원 대학원 석/박사 과정생

  - 강좌 수강 후 B학점 이상(일반대학원 기준)을 취득하시면 외국어 시험을 합격한 것으로 간주합니다.

2. 개설과목

○ 영어(화목반/토요일반)

○ 제2외국어(토요일반): 독일어, 프랑스어, 중국어, 러시아어, 일본어, 스페인어

   - 수강인원 12명 미만 폐강
   - 제2외국어는 수강인원이 적어 학기중(봄,가을 학기)에는 화목반으로 개설하고, 방학중(여름,겨울학기)

      에는 토요반으로 개설

   - 신청한 제2외국어 과목이 수강인원 미달로 폐강될 경우, 개설 가능한 제2외국어 과목으로 변경 가능

   - 강사, 수업 및 시험 방식, 교재는 반 개강 확정 후 공지(개별이메일 발송 예정)
   - 배정된 분반은 특별한 사정이 없는 한 변경 불가

※외국어시험 참고사항

※외국인은 본인의 국적(모국어사용기준)을 제외한 언어 응시 가능

※아래에 명시된 국가는 영어를 모국어로 사용하는 국가로, 해당 국가학생은 영어를 제1외국어로

   선택불가능(한국어, 독어, 불어, 중국어, 노어, 일어, 서반아어, 한문 중 택1)

  - 화목반: 2025.12.30(화)~2026.02.26(목), 18:30 - 21:30 (총 16회, 48시간 수업)
  - 토요반: 2026.01.03(토)~2026.02.28(토), 14:00 - 20:00 (총 8회, 48시간 수업)

  *2월 14일(토) 수업 없음

4. 수업시간

  - 화목반 18:30-21:30
  - 토요반 14:00-20:00

5. 수업방식: 줌을 이용한 실시간 수업(비대면)

  - 수업 및 시험 방식에 대한 자세한 사항은 담당 강사가 결정하여 반별로 공지할 예정입니다.

6. 접수기간 : 2025년 12월 4일(목) 10:00 ~ 12월 9일(화) 16:00

7. 접수방법 : 본교 포털시스템 > 정보생활 > 국제어학원 강좌 > 어학강좌에서 신청

              과목명: 2025-겨울 대학원 외국어시험 대체 어학강좌(해당 외국어)

  - 본교 학부/과, 석사, 박사 학번 중 2가지 이상 학번 소지자는 포털 상단의 소속 확인 후 현재 소속되어 있는

    과정의 학번으로 신청

  - 본교 박사과정생이 석사 학번으로 신청될 경우 추후 성적 인정 처리 불가

8. 수강료 : 외국어 강좌 당 300,000원

9. 수강료 납부방법 : 강좌 신청 후 무통장입금 (하나은행 391-810002-88304, 고려대학교 국제어학원)

  - 접수기간 내 수강신청 및 수강료 납부 완료되어야 하며, 수강료 미확인 시 수강신청 자동취소됨
  - 입금자명: 본인 성명+학번끝세자리 기입 예) 김고려 123
  - 수강료 납입 확인은 입금 2일 후, 포탈 어학강좌 신청 페이지에서 확인 가능

10. 환불신청

  - 기간: 환불 신청서 다운로드하여 환불 신청 가능 기간 및 환불 금액 산정식 세부사항 확인
  - 방법: 환불 신청서를 작성하여 이메일(kuifls@korea.ac.kr)로 제출

  - 환불처리 예상 기간: 환불 신청서 제출 후 최대 2주 소요
  - 환불 신청 사유에 기타를 선택하였을 경우 상세 사유 입력 요망

11. 성적확인

   가. 외국어센터: 강좌 종강 후 각 대학원으로 성적 결과 송부(종강 후 3주일 이내)
                     (국제어학원 외국어센터에서 개별 성적 확인 불가 및 최종 합격자 발표를 하지 않음)
   나. 대학원 행정팀: 대학원행정팀에서 별도의 내부절차를 거쳐 최종적으로 합격자 발표
   다. 수강생: 가,나의 절차가 완료된 후에 포털에서 합격/불합격 여부 확인 가능

       - 포털 > 학적/졸업 > 각종시험/신 청확인 > 합격내역조회에서 확인
       - 일반대학원 학생: 포털>학적/졸업 > 논문심사 > 학위청구논문제출자격요건
       - 성적과 출석에 관련된 모든 문의는 담당 강사와 상의

Alternative Language Course to

Graduate School Foreign Language Test

KU Foreign Language Center offers ‘Alternative Language Course to Graduate School Language Test for the 2025 Winter Semester which are conducted online as follows. The classes will primarily be conducted as real-time sessions using Zoom, though alternative methods such as assignment substitutions may be incorporated. Detailed information regarding classes and exam formats will be announced by the instructor for each class after the application period. (Online classes may transition to in-person classes depending on future circumstances.)

1. Eligible Students : Graduate students in Master's/Doctoral programs

- Upon completing the course with a grade of B or higher (based on the Graduate School of General Studies standard) will be considered equivalent to passing the foreign language exam.

2. Offered Courses

○ English (Tue/Thu Class, Sat Class)

○ Second Foreign Language (Tue/Thu Class): German, French, Chinese, Russian, Japanese, Spanish

- Classes with fewer than 12 enrolled students will be canceled.

- Due to low enrollment, Second Foreign Language courses are offered as Tuesday/Thursday classes during the semester (Spring/Fall) and as Saturday classes during breaks (Summer/Winter).

- If your applied Second Foreign Language course is canceled due to insufficient enrollment, you may switch to another available Second Foreign Language course.

- Instructors, class and exam formats, and textbooks will be announced after class confirmation (individual emails will be sent).

- Assigned sections cannot be changed unless there are special circumstances.

- Saturday Class: January 3, 2026 (Sat) ~ February 28 (Sat), 14:00 - 20:00 (Total 8 sessions, 48 hours)  *No class on Saturday, February 14

4. Class Hours

- Tuesday/Thursday Class: 18:30 - 21:30

- Saturday Class: 14:00 – 20:00

5. Class Format: Real-time classes via Zoom (non-face-to-face)

- Detailed information regarding class and exam formats will be determined by the instructor and announced to each class.

7. Application Method

Apply via KU portal system > Info Depot > Foreign Language Center Course > Language Course

Course Name: 2025-Winter Alternative Language Course to Graduate School Foreign Language Test (relevant foreign language) 

- Applicants holding two or more student ID numbers (undergraduate/department, master's, doctoral) must verify their current affiliation at the top of the portal and apply using the ID number corresponding to their current program.

- If a doctoral student applies using their master's student ID, credit recognition will not be possible later.

8. Tuition Fee : KRW 300,000 per foreign language course

9. Tuition Payment Method

After registering for a course, make a bank transfer (Hana Bank 391-810002-88304, Korea University Institute of Foreign Language Studies)

- Course registration and tuition payment must be completed within the registration period. If tuition payment is not confirmed, course registration will be automatically canceled.

- Payee Name: Enter your full name + last three digits of your student ID. Example: Kim Korea 123

- Tuition payment confirmation is available on the portal's language course application page two days after deposit.

10. Refund Request

- Period: Download the refund application form to confirm the refund application period and details of the refund calculation formula.

- Method: Complete the refund application form and submit it via email (kuifls@korea.ac.kr).

- Estimated Refund Processing Time: Up to 2 weeks after submitting the refund application form.

- If “Other” is selected as the reason for the refund application, please provide a detailed explanation.

11. Grade Confirmation

a. Foreign Language Center: Grades sent to respective graduate schools after course completion (within 3 weeks after course end)

- The International Language Institute Foreign Language Center does not provide individual grade inquiries or announce final pass/fail results.

b. Graduate School Administration Office: Final pass/fail announcements made by each graduate school after separate internal procedures.

- Procedures and schedules for pass notifications may vary by graduate school; inquire with your respective graduate school administration office.

c. Students: After steps a and b are completed, you can check your pass/fail status on the portal.

- Check via Portal > Academic Records/Graduation > Various Exams/Application Confirmation > Pass History Inquiry

- Graduate School Students: Portal > Academic Records/Graduation > Thesis Review > Thesis Submission Eligibility Requirements

- All inquiries regarding grades and attendance should be directed to the instructor in charge
