정보대학에서는 우수한 학업 성취를 보인 외국인 학생들의 학업을 장려하고

글로벌 인재 양성을 지원하기 위하여

「KU Informatics Global Excellence Scholarship」을 신설하였습니다.


별도의 신청 없이, 선발 기준을 충족하는 학생들 중 순으로 자동 선발 예정입니다. 


앞으로도 학생 여러분의 노력과 성장을 응원하며,

학업 및 대학 생활에 더욱 힘을 낼 수 있는 계기가 되기를 바랍니다.🤗


📌 선발 대상

  - 국제교육팀 입시를 통해 외국인 특별전형으로 입학한 서울캠퍼스 정보대학 외국인 재학생

     ※ 재학 중 한국국적을 취득하고 학적을 변경한 학생 또는 입학구분상 복수학위제 학생 제외

  - 정규 수업연한 이내 재학생

  - 고려대학교 학적 시스템상 국적이 대한민국이 아닌 학생

  - 선발 학기 15학점 이상 취득자 (마지막 학기인 경우, 12학점 이상)

  - 2026-1학기 재학생

      * 2026-2학기 휴학 예정자 및 2026년 8월 졸업예정자 제외


📌 선발 시기(예정)

  - 1학기 기준 : 7월 선발, 8월 지급

  - 2학기 기준, 1월 선발, 2월 지급


📌 장학금액

  - 성적최우수A : 등록금의 100%

  - 성적우수B : 등록금의 50%

  - 성적우수C : 등록금의 30%


📌 유의사항

  - 등록금(수업료) 내에서 장학금 이중 수혜 가능 (단, 정부초청외국인 장학생은 이중 수혜 불가)

  - 계절학기 성적은 포함되지 않습니다. 정규학기 성적만 포함되오니, 유의하여 주시기 바랍니다.



<KU Informatics Global Excellence Scholarship>


The College of Informatics has established the KU Informatics Global Excellence Scholarship

to encourage international students

who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and to support the development of global talent.

Eligible students will be automatically selected based on the scholarship criteria

without a separate application process.

We hope this scholarship will encourage you to continue your academic efforts

, personal growth, and provide further motivation for your studies and university life. 🤗


📌 Eligibility

  • - International students currently enrolled in the College of Informatics at Korea University’s Seoul Campus who were admitted through the International Admissions Team under the international student special admission track
    ※ Students who acquired Korean nationality during their enrollment and subsequently changed their student status, as well as students admitted under a dual-degree program, are excluded.

  • - Students who are within the standard period of study
  • - Students whose nationality is registered as non-Korean in Korea University’s academic records system
  • - Students who earned at least 15 credits in the semester used for selection
    (At least 12 credits are required for students in their final regular semester.)
  • - Students who were enrolled in the 2026 semester (2026-1)
    • - Students planning to take a leave of absence in Fall 2026 (2026-2) and students expected to graduate in August 2026 are excluded.

📌 Selection Schedule (Tentative)

  • Based on the Spring semester: Selection in July / Scholarship payment in August
  • Based on the Fall semester: Selection in January / Scholarship payment in February

📌 Scholarship Amount

  • Academic Excellence A: 100% of tuition
  • Academic Excellence B: 50% of tuition
  • Academic Excellence C: 30% of tuition


📌 Important Notes

  • Students may receive this scholarship together with other scholarships, provided that the total scholarship amount does not exceed the amount of tuition.
    (However, recipients of the Korean Government Scholarship Program are not eligible to receive this scholarship concurrently.)
  • Grades from summer or winter sessions are not included. Only grades earned during regular semesters will be considered.
